Hanoi (VNA) – The dailyreference exchange rate for VND/USD was raised by 15 VND to 22,416 VND/USD onJanuary 9.
With the current trading band of +/-3 percent, the ceiling rate applied to commercial banks during the day is23,085 VND/USD and the floor rate 21,749 VND/USD.
The opening hour rates at majorcommercial banks saw some changes from January 8.
Vietcombank adjusted its buyingrate down 20 VND to 22,675 VND/USD and selling rate up 40 VND to 22,745VND/USD.
The buying rate listed atVietinbank went up 10 VND to 22,675 VND/USD while the selling rate remainedunchanged at 22,745 VND/USD.
BIDV kept both rates unchangedat 22,680 VND/USD (buying) and 22,750 VND/USD (selling).-VNA
