Hanoi (VNA)
– The State Bank of Vietnam kept its reference VND/USD exchange unchangedfrom January 30, setting 22,441 VND/USD on the morning of January 31.
 
With the current +/- 3 percent VND/USD trading band, the ceiling exchange rateis 23,104 VND per USD and the floor rate is 21,770 VND per USD.

Major commercial banks made no changes to their rates.

Vietcombank and BIDV offered 22,675 VND (buying) and 22,745 VND (selling), perUSD, unchanged from January 30.

Vietinbank cut its rates by 1 VND to offer 22,674 VND (buying) and 22,744 VND(selling), per USD.-VNA

🌱 Maximum fine of 3,000 USD proposed for violating invoice regulations

Under a draft to amend and supplement the Government's Decree 125/2020/ND-CP on administrative sanctions for violations of tax and invoice regulations, the Ministry of Finance has proposed classifying the failure to issue invoices into five different levels. Infraction levels will correspond to fines of 1 million VND to 80 million VND, depending on the nature and number of invoicing violations.
