Reference exchange rate revised up on February 23

Hanoi (VNA) – The StateBank of Vietnam set the daily reference exchange rate at 23,140 VND per USD onFebruary 23, up 15 VND from the previous day.

With the current trading band of +/-3percent, the ceiling rate applied to commercial banks on the day is 23,834VND/USD and the floor rate 22,446 VND/USD.

The rates listed at major commercialbanks saw slight fluctuations.

At 8:25 am, Vietcombank listed thebuying rate at 22,910 VND/USD, and the selling rate 23,120 VND/USD, both up 10VND from February 22.

Meanwhile, BIDV kept both ratesunchanged, listing the buying rate at 22,925 VND/USD and the selling rate at23,125 VND/USD.

Vietinbank added 3 VND to both rates,listing at 22,878 VND/USD (buying) and 23,125 VND/USD (selling)./.
