Reference exchange rate up 21 VND on October 3

The State Bank of Vietnam set the daily reference exchange rate for the US dollar at 24,115 VND/USD on October 3, up 21 VND from the previous day.

Hanoi (VNA) - The State Bank of Vietnam set the daily reference exchange rate for the US dollar at 24,115 VND/USD on October 3, up 21 VND from the previous day.

With the current trading band of +/- 5%, the ceiling rate applicable for commercial banks during the day is 25,321 VND/USD and the floor rate 22,909 VND/USD.

At major commercial banks, the opening hour rates also increased remarkably.

At 8:15am, Vietcombank listed the buying rate at 24,490 VND/USD and the selling rate at 24,830 VND/USD, both up 50 VND from October 2.

Similarly, BIDV also raised both rates by 60 VND, posting the buying rate at 24,ꦫ500 VND/USD and the selling🎀 rate at 24,840 VND/USD./.
