Reference exchange rate up 3 VND at week’s beginning
The State Bank of Vietnam set the daily reference exchange rate for the US dollar at 23,098 VND/USD on April 4, up 3 VND from the last working day of previous week (April 1).

With the current trading band of +/-3 percent, the ceiling rate applicable to commercial banks during the day is23,790 VND/USD and the floor rate 22,405 VND/USD.
The opening-hour rates at commercial banks stayedstable.
At 8:25 am, Vietcombank listed the buying rate at22,670 VND/USD and the selling rate at 22,980 VND/USD, unchanged from theclosing-hour rates on April 1.
BIDV also kept both rates unchanged at 22,695 VND/USD(buying) and 22,975 VND/USD (selling).
During the week from March 28 to April 1, thedaily reference exchange rate fluctuated variably but ended the week down 51VND from the beginning of the week. /.
