The State Bank of Vietnam (SBV) set the daily reference exchange rate on September 25 at 22,715 VND/USD, up 6 VND from the rate on the previous day.

Hanoi (VNA) – The State Bank of Vietnam (SBV) set thedaily reference exchange rate on September 25 at 22,715 VND/USD, up 6 VND fromthe rate on the previous day.

With the current trading band of +/- 3 percent, the ceiling rate appliedto commercial banks during the day is 23,396 VND/USD and the floor rate, 22,033VND/USD.

Vietcombank increased both rates by 5 VND, listing the buying rate at23,295 VND/USD and the selling rate at 23,375 VND/USD.

At BIDV, the buying rate and the selling rate were kept at 23,295VND/USD and 23,375 VND/USD, respectively, unchanged as compared to the rates onSeptember 24.

Techcombank increased the buying rate by 5 VND, listing it at 23,275VND/USD, while kept the selling rate unchanged, at 23,280 VND/USD.-VNA
