Hanoi (VNA) - The daily reference exchange rate was setat 23,146 VND per USD on September 4, up 7 VND from the previous day (September 3).
With the current trading band of +/- 3percent, the ceiling rate applied to commercial banks during the day is 23,840 VND per USD and the floor rate at 22,451 VND/USD.
The opening hour rates at commercial banks fluctuated slightly.
At 8:15 am, Vietcombank listed the buyingrate at 23,135 VND/USD and theselling rate at 23,255 VND/USD, both up 5 VND from the same time on September 3.
BIDV kept both rates unchanged at 23,140 VND/USD (buying) and 23,260 VND/USD (selling).
Meanwhile, Techcombank added 11 VND to both rates, listing the buying rate at23,126 VND/USD and the selling rate at 23,266 VND/USD.-VNA
