Remains of volunteer soldiers reburied in Dak Lak

A service was held at a martyr cemetery in the Central Highlands province of Dak Lak on April 28 to re-bury remains of 13 Vietnamese volunteer soldiers and experts who laid down their lives in Cambodia during wartime.

൲A service was held ata martyr cemetery in the Central Highlands province of Dak Lak on April 28 tore-bury remains of 13 Vietnamese volunteer soldiers and experts who laid downtheir lives in Cambodia during wartime.

Attending the ceremony were representativesfrom the Steering Committee for the Search and Repatriation of Remains ofFallen Soldiers (Steering Committee 515) of Military Region 5 and Dak Lak province. The remains were repatriated during the2019-2020 dry season by Team K15 of the Dak Lak Military High Command and werehanded over to the Vietnamese side at the beginning of this month.   H’Yim Kdoh, Vice Chairman of the Dak LakProvincial People’s Committee and Head of the provincial Steering Committee 515, expressed his gratitude at the ceremony towards the martyrs who sacrificedtheir lives for the country’s liberation. Dak Lak has repatriated and reburied remains of682 soldiers found in Cambodia since 2001./.
