Da Nang (VNA) – The Coast Guard ship Badaro of the Republic of Korea (RoK)docked at Tien Sa port on September 4 for a four-day trip to the central cityof Da Nang.
The ship, with 189 officers and sailors aboard, is captained by Lieutenant ColonelKim Dong Jin.
This isthe second time it has arrived in the city after the first visit in 2016, aimingto enhance mutual trust and deepening the strategic partnership between Vietnamand the RoK.
The guestsare scheduled to conduct exchange activities with the High Command of Vietnam CoastGuard and pay courtesy visits to the municipal People’s Committee and the HighCommand of Vietnam Coast Guard Region 2. On theoccasion, local authorities will propose the two sides continue expandingcooperation and sharing experience in search and rescue, sea security andsafety.-VNA

RSS Endurance of the Singaporean Navy with 180 crewmembers aboard led by Major Lee Kwok So anchored in Cam Ranh port in the south central province of Khanh Hoa on February 17, beginning a five-day visit to Vietnam.
Vessel CSB-8004 carrying a delegation of the Vietnam Coast Guard High Command arrived at Xiuying Port in China’s Hainan province on May 9, beginning an exchange programme with China’s Coast Guard.
