Da Nang (VNA) – The Coast Guard ship Badaro of the Republic of Korea (RoK)docked at Tien Sa port on September 4 for a four-day trip to the central cityof Da Nang.

The ship, with 189 officers and sailors aboard, is captained by Lieutenant ColonelKim Dong Jin.

This isthe second time it has arrived in the city after the first visit in 2016, aimingto enhance mutual trust and deepening the strategic partnership between Vietnamand the RoK.

The guestsare scheduled to conduct exchange activities with the High Command of Vietnam CoastGuard and pay courtesy visits to the municipal People’s Committee and the HighCommand of Vietnam Coast Guard Region 2. On theoccasion, local authorities will propose the two sides continue expandingcooperation and sharing experience in search and rescue, sea security andsafety.-VNA
