The Speaker and his spouseplanted trees and visited the companies’ factories.
A leader from Samil Vina saidthe company opened its first factory in Dong Nai in 2006, with employee numbersrising from the hundreds to 2,300. It produces and exports about 45,000 tonnesof knit fabric each year and earned 220 million USD in revenue in 2019.
It will continue to open morefactories in the time to come and invest in advanced technologies.
The company already owns a wastewatertreatment system with a daily capacity of 3,000 cu.m, with recycled wastewaterused in production.
The RoK delegation hoped companiescan quickly overcome the difficulties posed by COVID-19 and contribute tomaintaining ties between the two countries./.
