Thedelegation includes representatives from Russia’s high-tech companiesin a number of fields, such as chip manufacturing and production,electrical equipment, water supply, marine ships, and energy-savingtechnology.

Russian firms are eyeing up the Vietnamese market andkeen to transfer advanced technologies to Vietnam, said StrozhaevaLubov Viktorovna, head of the project, told reporters at the October 20press conference in Hanoi.

While in Vietnam, the delegation isscheduled to have meetings with officials from the National Assembly’sCommittee for Science, Technology and Environment and the VietnameseAcademy of Science and Technology (VAST), relevant ministries and thebusiness circle.

As part of the two countries’ technologicalcooperation, bilateral dialogues have progressed substantially in recentyears, Viktorovna said.

The two sides signed a number ofsignificant agreements on trade cooperation and technology transfer,established numerous manufacturing units, and built business networks inVietnam, she added.-VNA

Under a draft to amend and supplement the Government's Decree 125/2020/ND-CP on administrative sanctions for violations of tax and invoice regulations, the Ministry of Finance has proposed classifying the failure to issue invoices into five different levels. Infraction levels will correspond to fines of 1 million VND to 80 million VND, depending on the nature and number of invoicing violations.
