Sailboat building plant to be constructed in Da Nang

Corsair Marine International, a subsidiary of Australia’s SeaWind Group wants to invest in a luxury sailboat building plant in central Da Nang city, according to the Da Nang People’s Committee of Da Nang.

MikeRees, General Director of Corsair Marine International, has afact-finding visit to Da Nang and worked with the municipal officials.

Underits plan, Corsair Marine International will construct a plant buildingcatamaran and trimaran yachts and providing repair and upgrade servicesfor luxury yachts. All sailboats will be built using composite andcarbon fibers.

SeaWind Group has supplied between 60 and 100 sailboats to the US, European and Australian markets.

Vietnamcurrently has five yachts built by the Australian group and being usedin resorts in Nha Trang, the central province of Khanh Hoa.

Under a draft to amend and supplement the Government's Decree 125/2020/ND-CP on administrative sanctions for violations of tax and invoice regulations, the Ministry of Finance has proposed classifying the failure to issue invoices into five different levels. Infraction levels will correspond to fines of 1 million VND to 80 million VND, depending on the nature and number of invoicing violations.
