About 160 domestic and international manufacturers and suppliers are taking part at the International Shoes and Leather Exhibition in Ho Chi Minh City from July 11-13.
About 160 domestic and international manufacturers and suppliers aretaking part at the International Shoes and Leather Exhibition in Ho ChiMinh City from July 11-13.

Companies from 16 countriesand territories, including Argentina, China, Germany,India, Japan, Spain, Thailand, Turkey, the US andothers, are showcasing machinery, materials, chemicals, cloth, shoes andleather products.

The exhibition is an opportunity forbusinesses to access new technologies, promote their brand names andmeet international partners.

Numerous activities will beorganised as part of the programme, such as an award ceremony for the2013 International Footwear Design Contest, and workshops onopportunities and challenges that Vietnam’s industry faces as thecountry joins the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) and the Vietnam–EUFree Trade Agreement.-VNA

Under a draft to amend and supplement the Government's Decree 125/2020/ND-CP on administrative sanctions for violations of tax and invoice regulations, the Ministry of Finance has proposed classifying the failure to issue invoices into five different levels. Infraction levels will correspond to fines of 1 million VND to 80 million VND, depending on the nature and number of invoicing violations.
