Hanoi (VNA) - The government of Singapore and Apple on September 15announced their partnership on the health initiative LumiHealth, a personalised program to encourage healthy activityand behaviors using Apple Watch.
The programme was designed by Singapore’s HealthPromotion Board in conjunction with Apple as part of the country’s Smart Nationinitiative, a national effort to leverage technology to deliver benefits to itscitizens and businesses.
Created incollaboration with a team of physicians and public health experts, LumiHealthuses technology and behaviouralinsights to encourage Singaporeans to keep healthy and complete wellnesschallenges through their Apple Watch and iPhone.
The two-yearprogramme will be offeredfrom this late October.
“Even as allof us around the world are dealing with the challenges of COVID-19, we mustkeep investing in our future,” Heng Swee Keat, Singapore’s Deputy PrimeMinister told media. Andthere is no better investment than in our own personal health, he added.

Within the app, users travel through worlds with a friendlyintergalactic explorer who guides them through tasks that are personalizedbased on their age, gender, and weight./.
