Addressing the function in Hanoi, Singaporean Ambassador Ng Teck Hean said educati💫on is one of the highlights of Vietnam-Singapore cooperation.
The scholarships offer young ASEAN people opportunities to develop their ability and also equip them with 💜necessary skil😼ls for their future career, he added.
The diplomat also expressed his hope that the recipients will take full advantage of th🐠e scholarships and contribute to the mutual understanding b💞etween the two young peoples.
The ASEAN scholarship pro🐲gramme is part of the cooperation between the Singaporean Education Ministry and ASEAN countries for pupils aged between ❀14-16.
The🐷 scholarships cover food, accomodation and tuition fees during their four years of studying atꦆ Singaporean State-run high schools.
After graduation, pupils with outstanding academic records will have achance to apply for the ASEAN
undergraduate scholarships at Singaporeanuniversities.-VNA
The programmes have brought about positive changes to rural infrastructure, comprehensively improved the material and spiritual lives of farmers, and contributed to Vietnam's economic restructuring, said PM Pham Minh Chinh.
