Students join charity Tet programme

Nearly 400 students from 32 universities, colleges, vocational schools and high schools in Ho Chi Minh City have joined the charity campaign Nha sach don Tet (Cleaning House to Welcome Tet) organised by the South African Honorary Consulate and VASS Assurance Corporation.

Thevolunteers provide cleaning services to registered houses, andcontribute the money they earn from housework (45,000 VND per hour) tohelp children and older people with difficult circumstances to have ahappier Tet holiday.

As part of the community-based programmesfor Tet organised by the Consulate in collaboration with VASS AssuranceCorporation, the programme kicked off on January 15 and will run untilFebruary 8.-VNA

Over 1.5 million people assistওed during humanitarian month 2025

According to the Central Committee of the Vietnam Red Cross Society (VRC), this year’s campaign provided long-term aid for 3,785 individuals and organisations.
