Hanoi (VNA) - The Vietnam Union of Friendship Organisations (VUFO) on July 15 presented the “For Peace a෴nd Friendship among Nations” insignia to the outgoing Swedish Ambassador Camilla Mella🎐nder.
Speaking at the presentation ceremony in Hanoi, President of VUFO Vu Xuan Hong attributed the great achievements in bilateral ties to tireless efforts made by the ambassador during her term of office in Vietnam, especially in economy, trade, culture and education.
Ambassador Mellander said that she is honoured to receive such a noble reward from the VUFO and pledged to continue working to strengthen the friendship and cooperation between the two nations.
Sweden is Vietnam’s important economic partner in Northern Europe with two-way trade topping 1.2 billion USD in the past three years.-VNA
