HCM City (VNA) - The Techcombank HCM City International Marathonis scheduled to kick off on November 26 in Ho Chi Minh City.

The event is expected to draw thousands of runners who will compete in the 42kmand 21km events.

Runners will start from Thao Cam Vien (zoological and botanical garden) and runto Thu Thiem new urban area.

Before the main event, children will be able to participate in the Kid’s Run,which is being organised in two age groups: under six and 7-14.

The event is being coordinated by the municipal Department of Culture, Sportsand Tourism and the Athletics Federation.-VNA

Vietnam re-e🃏lected to 2005 UNESCO Convention’s Intergovernmental Committee

This is the first time since the adoption of the Convention that a country has served two consecutive terms on the Committee.
