The sixth VietnamInternational Exhibition on Film and Television Technology - Telefilm 2018, openedin Ho Chi Minh City on June 7.

The three-day Telefilm 2018 exhibition hasattracted about 150 exhibitors and more than 3,000 film and televisiontechnology professionals from 15 countries and territories such as the UK,Japan, the Republic of Korea, Thailand, Philippines, India, Singapore, China,Taiwan and Hong Kong.

Many well-known internationalcommunications and TV organisations are attending the exhibition, includingThailand’s JKN Global Media Public Company Limited, Taiwan Drama ProductionIndustry Federation (TDPIF), Japan’s TBS, Korea Creative Content Agency (KOCCA)and Media Corp Singapore.

The exhibition is displaying latest products, services and technologies used infilm and television, including TV programmes and serials, broadcastingplatforms, satellite television and internet television services,pre-production and post-production services, and broadcasting equipment andtechnologies.

Organised by Vietnam Television and theADPEX Joint Stock Company, the Telefilm will offer investors and visitorsopportunity to meet potential partners and access to up-to-date internationalfilm and television trends.

Several seminars will be held on thesidelines of the event, focusing on current television trends amid rapiddigitalisation in the TV industry globally and in Vietnam specifically.-VNA

Under a draft to amend and supplement the Government's Decree 125/2020/ND-CP on administrative sanctions for violations of tax and invoice regulations, the Ministry of Finance has proposed classifying the failure to issue invoices into five different levels. Infraction levels will correspond to fines of 1 million VND to 80 million VND, depending on the nature and number of invoicing violations.
