Bangkok (VNA) - Thai Prime Minister Paetongtarn Shinawatra survived a no-confidence vote in the parliament on March 26, after securing enough support among the lawmakers to remain in office.
Specifically, Paetongtarn won the backing of 319 among 488 lawmakers present.
The no-confidence motion against Paetongtarn was initiated by the opposition, accusing her of lacking ruling experience and ineffective governance.
This is the first time the💙 youngest PM of Thailand has faced a no-confidence vote since taking office ℱin September 2024./.
