Bangkok (NNT/VNA) - The Department ofDisaster Prevention and Mitigation (DDPM) has coordinated with northern,northeastern, eastern and central provinces to brace for summer storms duringMarch 14 to 18, 2019.
The DDPM Director-General, Chayapol Thitisak, said the four regions are alsoexpected to experience thunderstorms and hail in some areas.
They will first affect the northeastern and eastern regions and then thenorthern and central regions the following day.
The DDPM has coordinated with the provinces and the Disaster Prevention andMitigation Centres in the risk areas to be prepared to tackle the summerstorms. Those in need of immediate assistance can call the department's hotlineat 1784 around the clock.–NNT/VNA
