Thai Nguyen (VNA) — Various culturalactivities featuring the cultural identities of Malaysia, Indonesia and Vietnamare on at the Museum of Vietnam’s Ethnic Groups in the northern province of ThaiNguyen. Traditional costumes, handicraft and fine arts are in thespotlight, along with documentary screenings on the cultures of thesecountries. The delegation from Malaysia includes 25 artisans, teachers andstudents from Teknologi Mara University, while Indonesia has sent Batik expertVenny Afwany Alasmasyah and two other colleagues. Some 30 handicraft artisans from six ethnic groups of Vietnam -Mong, Dao, Thai, Cham, Tay and Pa Then - together with hearing-impairedartisans from the Kym Viet Company and traditional long dress embroider Lan Huongare also participating in the event.
The artisans will showcase their skills and exchange experienceswith their colleagues from other countries. 🎀 The activities will continue until December 11. — VNA
