Thua Thien-Hue to invest 82 mlm USD in rural industry
The central province of Thua Thien-Hue has decided to invest nearly 1.9 trillion VND (82 million USD) into a project on rural industry development through 2025.
Thua Thien-Hue (VNA) – The centralprovince of Thua Thien-Hue has decided to invest nearly 1.9 trillion VND (82million USD) into a project on rural industry development through 2025.
It aims to increase industrial production valuein rural areas to 13.5-15 trillion VND (562 million – 648 million USD), a17-17.5 percent annual increase.
Eighty-five percent of the total investment willcome from social sources, and the remainder from the local support fund.
The province will prioritise developinginfrastructure at industrial clusters and trade villages as well as raising competitivenessfor rural industrial establishments.
It will focus on developing markets for ruralindustrial products and material supply areas.
Localities in the province will promote theirstrongest industrial products such as agro-forestry-fishery and beverages,handicrafts, mechanical equipment, construction materials, garment-textiles andfootwear.-VNA
The central province of Thua Thien – Hue welcomed over 770,000 tourists in January – February, including more than 382,000 foreigners, up 8.62 percent year-on-year, according to the provincial Tourism Department.
The tourism sector of the central province of Thua Thien-Hue and Fayfay.com Co., Ltd., of Hong Kong , China signed a cooperation agreement during a local ceremony on March 7.
A conference on tourism cooperation between the central province of Thua Thien-Hue and the Japanese prefecture of Gifu took place in the city of Hue on March 8.
