Travellers from Iran, Italy required to fill medical declarations

The Health Ministry said on February 29 that it has sent dispatch No.987/BYT-DP to People’s Committees of cities and provinces informing them on the requirement for medical declaration for travellers coming from or travelling through Iran and Italy.

Hanoi (VNA) – The Health Ministry said onFebruary 29 that it has sent dispatch No.987/BYT-DP to People’s Committees ofcities and provinces informing them on the requirement for medical declarationfor travellers coming from or travelling through Iran and Italy.

They must fill medical declarations at all border gates,starting from 0am on February 29.

Units concerned were asked to arrange interpreters major inIranian and Italian languages at border gates to serve the work.

The move is part of efforts to prevent the SARS-CoV-2 virusthat is spreading worldwide, with Iran and Italy reporting large numbers of thecoronavirus disease (COVID-19) caused by the virus.

On February 28, Italy reported 821 cases of COVID-19 andIran 388 cases.

Vietnam has reported no new infection of SARS-CoV-2 sinceFebruary 13./.
