Hanoi (VNA) – Two people were killed and five others were injured in a car crash in Phalanxay district, Savannakhet province of Laos on June 21, said the Vietnamese Consulate General in Laos.

The two deceased were Pham Van Binh, born in 1987, and Nguyen Van Tho, born in 1994. Both were residents of Dien Kim commune, Dien Chau district, the central Nghe An province.

The five injured people were sent to a general hospital of Savannakhet province.
