Hanoi (VNA) - The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has granted permission for the screening of two French 💛m🔜ovies in Vietnam, it announced on August 18.
The films are “Révolte dans la mode”, directed by Laurent Lunetta, and “Des hommes stylés” from Loic Prigent.
They are expected to be screened from September 15 to December 31 in various locations across the country, including Hanoi, Hai Phong, Thai Nguyen, and Lao Cai in the north, Nghe An and Ha Tinh in the north-central region, Thua Thien-Hue and Da Nang in the central region, Ho Chi Minh City in the south, and Can Tho in the Mekong Delta.
The ministry noted that screenings will be held only aft🐟erဣ the COVID-19 pandemic is brought under control in the localities and if preventive measures are observed./.
‘Hay Thuc Tinh va San Sang’ (Stay Awake, Be Ready) by Pham Thien An will premiere in the Quinzaine des Réalisateurs (Directors' Fortnight), an independent section held in parallel with the Cannes Film Festival in France in May.
The 21st National Film Festival will take place in the southern province of Ba Ria-Vung Tau on November 23-27 under the theme of “Building a national, humanistic, creative and integrated Vietnamese film industry”.

The U23 competition will run from June 16 to 22, followed by the U17 event from June 23 to 28, while athletes competing in the U23 category will undergo weight and skill checks ahead of the matches starting June 18, while similar checks for U17 athletes will take place before June 23.
