Col. Omar Tonsay, spokesperson of the Filipino naval force said on August 28 that the participating countries, including Brunei , Indonesia , Malaysia , Thailand and Singapore , will focus on coordinating counter-terrorism activities between surface, air and task force units during the Southeast Asia Cooper🐠ation and Training military exercise.

At the event, the US will dispatch its USS Safeguard. Meanwhile,the Philippines will deploy 200 officers, four ships and an airplane,and Singapore will serve as the command and control centre.-VNA
