Vietnam Airlines launches special tour package to Japan

Vietnam Airlines said on February 10 that it has coordinated with other Vietnamese travel agencies to launch a special tour package to Japan from February 20 and March.

The offered tourincludes five days and four nights through Nagoya, Takayama, and Tokyo,costing 26.299 million VND (1,236 USD) covering air fare, tax, travelfee, accommodation, transport, visa, insurance, and tour guide.

A return economy-class fare on the Hanoi-Tokyo route generally costs about 20 million VND (940 USD).

Japan topped the 10 million visitor mark for the first time in 2013.

The Sakura country welcomed 85,000 Vietnamese visitors in 2013 and100,000 in 2014. It aims to serve 200,000 Vietnamese tourists in 2017.

The Japanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs on June 17,2014 announced plans to relax visa rules for tourists from Vietnam,Indonesia and the Philippines in a bid to double the number of foreignvisitors ahead of the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo.-VNA

Running from August 4 to September 2, under the hashtag #TuHaoVietNam, the campaign invites participants in two categories: “I Love My Country” video clips and “I Love My Country” check-in photos.
