Hanoi (VNA) – National flag carrier Vietnam Airlines and low-cost carrier Jetstar Pacific have reached a code-sharing agreement that aims to offer enhanced connectivity and seamless access for travelers on Hanoi-Ho Chi Minh City route.

There will be 34 one-way flights a day, with 30 minutes apart, starting from 5h45 to 21h30, on the route.

The national flag carrier will offer flights at even hours (such as 6h00) and provide more alternate flights which are 15-30 minutes apart.

The move aims to help passengers enjoy the most convenience in terms of personal timing and schedule, said Trinh Ngoc Thanh, Deputy Director of Vietnam Airlines.

It will also reduce waiting time of passengers due to flexible flight schedule and higher frequency.

Additionally, the new schedule of Vietnam Airlines will be beneficial for those who often go on business trips and return in the course of the day.

Flights on wide-bodied planes such as Boeing 787, Boeing ♛777, Airbus A350, Airbus A330 make up 65 perꦦcent of flights on Hanoi – Ho Chi Minh route while the rest will be launched by A321 planes.-VNA
