Vietnam attends defence exhibition in Malaysia

A delegation of the Ministry of National Defence is attending the 12 th Defence Services Asia Exhibition and Conference, which takes place in the Malaysian capital of Kuala Lumpur from April 19-22.
A delegation of the Ministry of NationalDefence is attending the 12 th Defence Services Asia Exhibition andConference, which takes place in the Malaysian capital of Kuala Lumpurfrom April 19-22.

The event, known as DSA, is one of the five largest exhibitions in theworld and the largest security and national defence exhibition in Asia .It is attended by over 700 companies from 40 countries, includingRussia and the US , which are displaying hundreds of militaryequipment, including planes, warships, armoured cars, missiles, airdefence systems and military uniforms.

The Vietnamese delegation, led by Leut. Gen. Pham Hong Loi, Deputy Chiefof the General Staff of the Vietnam People’s Army, took this occasionto share experiences with international friends in national defence.

The 12 th DSA is expected to see the signing of numerous contracts,including Malaysia ’s contracts, worth 3.25 billion USD, on thepurchase of tanks, warplanes and submarines./.
