Vietnam’s BRG Group, which specialises in finance, banking and golf,signed a contract on March 19 with the Nicklaus Group to open JackNicklaus Academies in Vietnam.

BRG plans to buildJack Nicklaus Academies in Hanoi and Hai Phong city in the north, DaNang city in the central region, and Ho Chi Minh City in the south. Theywill be equipped with the academy’s global-standard facilities andcurricula.

The Jack Nicklaus Academy was founded byUS golf player Jack Nicklaus, nicknamed the “Golfer of the Century” with18 major championships and 25 years of experience in golf training. Theacademy’s network encompasses more than 20 establishments around theworld.

Earlier, the BRG and Nicklaus Groupscooperated in constructing the international-level course Legend HillGolf Resort in Hanoi’s outlying Soc Son district, the first to bedesigned by Nicklaus Design in Vietnam.-VNA
