Vietnam, Cambodia provinces to open more border gates

An agreement to open four more pairs of auxiliary border gates has recently been signed between authorities of the southern province of Tay Ninh and its neighbouring Cambodian province of Svay Rieng.

Tay Ninh (VNA) – An agreement to open four more pairs of👍 auxiliary border gates has recently been signed between authorities of the southern province of Tay Ninh and its neighbouring Cambodian province of Svay Rieng.

The new pairs of border gates are Vam Trang Trau-Dong, Long Phuoc-Prey Ta Ey, Phuoc Chi-Brasat, and Hoa Hiep-Khser Dek.
The two provinces will submit their request on the opening of these auxiliary border gates to their relevant agencies for approval.
Tay Ninh and four border provinces of Cambodia have to date opened two international border gates on the common borderline, namely Moc Bai and Xa Mat, four main and 14 auxiliary border gates. About one million passengers pass through border gates between Tay Ninh and Cambodian provinces each year.-VNA
