Vietnam strongly condemns terror attacks in any form, and such acts must be strictly punished in accordance with the law, stated Foreign Ministry spokesperson Le Thi Thu Hang on September 25.

Hanoi (VNA) – Vietnam strongly condemns terror attacks in any form, and such acts mustbe strictly punished in accordance with the law, stated Foreign Ministry spokespersonLe Thi Thu Hang on September 25.

Hang was responding toreporters’ questions related to the terror attack on a military parade in thesouthwestern city of Ahvaz of Iran on September 22, which killed 25 people. Itwas the deadliest attack in Iran in nearly a decade.

“We would like toextend our deepest sympathy to the Government and people of Iran and familiesof the victims,” she said.

Earlier, ActingPresident Dang Thi Ngoc Thinh sent her condolences to Iranian President HassanRouhani over the tragedy.-VNA
