As many as 170 enterprises are showcasing their latest products and equipment in 250 booths at the Vietnam International Retail and Franchise Show (VIETRF) 2014 in Ho Chi Minh City on October 30.
As many as 170 enterprises are showcasing their latest products andequipment in 250 booths at the Vietnam International Retail andFranchise Show (VIETRF) 2014 in Ho Chi Minh City on October 30.

VIETRF is organised annually by the Korea International TradeAssociation (KITA), the Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA),KITA-owned COEX and Vietnam National Trade Fair and Advertising Company(Vinexad), with a view to creating opportunities for retail andfranchise businesses to find partners and develop the market.

This year’s event is attended by famous brands from all over the world,such as Subway, New Zealand Natural Premium Ice Cream, Tous Les Joursand Gloria’s Jean.

In particular, the booths exhibitingprestigious brands and products from the US, Italy, Malaysia, theRepublic of Korea, Thailand and Vietnam will provide businessopportunities and up-to-date market information for investors andenterprises interested in the field.

A number of workshops arealso held during the exhibition to introduce the development trends inthe retail and franchise market in Vietnam and other foreign countries.

Under a draft to amend and supplement the Government's Decree 125/2020/ND-CP on administrative sanctions for violations of tax and invoice regulations, the Ministry of Finance has proposed classifying the failure to issue invoices into five different levels. Infraction levels will correspond to fines of 1 million VND to 80 million VND, depending on the nature and number of invoicing violations.
