The visiting Israeli officer madethe promise during his meeting with Deputy Chief of the General Staff of theVietnam People’s Army, Senior Lieutenant General Pham Ngoc Minh, in Hanoi onJanuary 11. Vietnam-Israel defence ties havedeveloped well, contributing to deepening friendly relations as well as mutualunderstanding between the militaries and peoples of the two countries, stressedPham Ngoc Minh at the meeting. He noted that both sides will seeopportunities to boost bilateral defence ties in 2017.-VNA
