Hanoi (VNA) – The relationship betweenVietnam and Kazakhstan has developed in the spirit of friendship and mutually beneficialcooperation, heard a roundtable on December 10.

The event was jointly held by the Embassy of Kazakhstan in Vietnam and the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics on theoccasion of Kazakhstan’s Independence Day (December 16), towards the 30th anniversary of diplomatic ties between the two countries (June 29, 1992-2022).

In his remarks, Kazakh Ambassador to Vietnam E. S.Bayzhanov reviewed the 30-year cause of construction and development in Kazakhstan,with its GDP increasing 17 times, from 11.4 billion USD to 188.9 billion USD.

For the Vietnam-Kazakhstan relations, he said apartfrom cooperation in such traditional spheres as culture and education, the two countriesshould work to boost economic ties.

According to the ambassador, the next meeting of the Vietnam– Kazakhstan inter-governmental cooperation committee will take place in 2022, sayingit is time for the two countries to arrange visits at the highest level.

Vietnamese diplomats, researchers and scholars at theevent also proposed solutions to enhance the traditional cooperative relationsand friendship in the time ahead./.
