Phuc urged Vietnam and Laos to accelerate the construction ofroads connecting the two countries, initially the Xieng Khouang, Houphan– Nghi Son, Thanh Hoa land route.
He asked the Lao Government to continue facilitating Vietnamese businesses’ investment in the country.
Regarding border cooperation, Phuc noted that both nations haveeffectively coordinated to ensure social order and security, and createfavourable conditions for socio-economic development in borderlocalities.
The achievements have contributed tocementing and reinforcing the traditional friendship, special solidarityand comprehensive cooperation between the two countries, he added.
He affirmed that the Vietnamese Government and people always care andrejoice at Lao remarkable achievements in all fields over the past time.
