Vietnam, Laos exchange mass mobilisation experience

Officials of the Vietnamese Party Commission for Mass Mobilisation and the Lao Front for National Construction Central Committee looked into ways to enhance mass mobilisation in their nations.

Hanoi (VNA) – Officials of the Vietnamese Party Centra🍷l Commi✤ttee’s Commission for Mass Mobilisation and the Lao Front for National Construction (LFNC) Central Committee looked into ways to enhance mass mobilisation in their respective countries on August 30.

At the working session in Hanoi, the two sides presented their agencies’ organisation, functions and tasks while sharing experience in doing mass mobilisation activities in rural and ethnic minority areas. They also discussed measures to develop the work and tighten bilateral connections.
Politburo member Truong Thi Mai, head of the Vietnamese commission, underlined the importance of the Lao side’s visit to the solidarity and amity between the two Parties, States and peoples. She stressed Vietnam always treasures its time-honoured friendship, special solidarity and comprehensive cooperation with Laos.
Politburo member Saysomphone Phomvihane said this is his first visit to a foreign nation in the position of Chairman of the LFNC Central Committee. It is made amidst thriving Vietnamese-Lao relations, especially after the official visit to Vietnam by General Secretary of the Lao People’s Revolutionary Party and President Bounnhang Vorachith last April and President Tran Dai Quang’s State visit to Laos three months later, he noted.-VNA

Lao Minister of Foreign Affairs Thongsavanh Phomvihane affirmed that the presence of Vietnamese press offices in Laos vividly demonstrates the great friendship, special solidarity, and comprehensive cooperation between the two nations, as the press is not only a means of communication but also an important bridge for spreading consciousness about the history, values, and strategic depth of the Laos – Vietnam relationship to the people of both countries and the international community.
