Vietnam logs 528 new COVID-19 cases on December 8

The national COVID-19 caseload rose to 11,519,539 with 528 new cases recorded on December 8, the highest daily count for the past six days, according to the Ministry of Health.

Hanoi (VNA) – The nationalCOVID-19 caseload rose to 11,519,539 with 528 new cases recorded on December 8, the highestdaily count for the past six days, according tothe Ministry of Health.

With 113 patients given the all-clear during the day, thenumber of recoveries rose to 10,609,370.  

Meanwhile, there are 69 patients needing breathing support.

No death from COVID-19 was recorded in the past 24hours. The total fatalities stood at 43,178.

With 14,788 doses administered on December 7, the total number of doses of COVID-19 vaccines injectedrose to 264,805,830./.
