Vietnam Medipham Expo opens in Hanoi

Hanoi (VNA) – The International Medical, Hospital andPharmaceutical Exposition (Vietnam Medipharm Expo) 2017 opened in Hanoi onDecember 7.

The expo featured 200 booths of 150 enterprises from 18 countries andterritories, including India, the Republic of Korea (RoK), Canada, Germany, theUS, Thailand, China, Australia and the host Vietnam.

It aims to introduce the latest medical achievements, machines,technologies and techniques in the medical-pharmaceutical sector of manycountries in the world and Vietnam.

Statistics showed that compared to 2016, the number of foreign firmsjoining this year’s event rose by 15 percent, while domestic businesses alsoincreased 10 percent.

The new features of this year’s exhibition include the introduction ofpharmaceuticals of Iranian firms, dental equipment of RoK companies, and Indianmedicines and medical equipment.

The expo has also given a chance for participants to visit hospitals andopportunities for businesses to seek partnerships.

The expo will last until December 9.-VNA
