Vietnam News Agency, Ben Tre beef up information cooperation

A delegation of the Vietnam News Agency (VNA) led by Nguyen Duc Loi, member of the Party Central Committee and VNA General Director, has paid a working visit to the Mekong Delta province of Ben Tre to strengthen information cooperation.

Ben Tre (VNA) – A delegation of the Vietnam News Agency (VNA) ledby Nguyen Duc Loi, member of the Party Central Committee and VNA General Director,has paid a working visit to the Mekong Delta province of Ben Tre to strengtheninformation cooperation.

At the working session, General Director Loi informed  the province’s leaders of his agency’sbuilding and development process, with it now having representative offices inall 63 provinces and cities, and 30 nations and territories around the world.

The VNA can promote the image of Ben Tre, he said, hopingthat both sides would sign a cooperation agreement on informationdissemination.

Member of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of theprovincial Party Committee Phan Van Mai stated that the province has exertedefforts and achieved positive results in socio-economic development,defence-security and Party building.

Therefore, it wants to spread these achievements so as tohave more cooperation opportunities and attract more investment, he added.

Both sides agreed to soon sign an agreement on cooperationfor 2021-2025./.

“I Love My Country” media campaign launched

Running from August 4 to September 2, under the hashtag #TuHaoVietNam, the campaign invites participants in two categories: “I Love My Country” video clips and “I Love My Country” check-in photos.

With a tight 13-month deadline, the move is under a strategic and urgent policy to bridge educational gaps, train the local workforce, and shore up territorial sovereignty in some of the country’s most remote areas.
