Vietnam records no new COVID-19 cases on September 18 morning

Vietnam recorded no new COVID-19 cases between 6 pm on September 17 and 6 am on September 18, according the National Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control.

Hanoi (VNA) - Vietnam recorded no new COVID-19cases between 6 pm on September 17 and 6 am on September 18, according theNational Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control.

The total number of COVID-19 infections remained at 1,066.

The total number of recovery stood at 940. The fatalitiesremain at 35.

Among patients under treatment, 14 have tested negativeonce, seven negative twice and 19 negative thrice.

As many as 31,319 people who had close contact with COVID-19patients or entered Vietnam from pandemic-hit regions are being quarantinednationwide, including 423 in hospitals, 15,860 in concentrated quarantineestablishments and 15,036 at home./.
