Hanoi (VNA) – Vietnam had reopened air routeswith 19 countries and territories as of February 15, according to the CivilAviation Authority of Vietnam (CAAV).

The foreign destinations include Japan, the Republic ofKorea, China, Taiwan (China), Singapore, Thailand, Cambodia, Laos, Australia,Germany, Russia, France, the United Kingdom, the United States, Hong Hong(China), Malaysia, Turkey, Qatar and UAE.

Full services have yet to be restored with China as theneighbouring country only allows outbound passenger flights to Vietnam as partof its COVID-19 preventive policies.

Vietnam has been gradually resuming international flights sinceJanuary 1 after over two years of shutdown to contain the pandemic./.

🦩 Lam Dong steps up key measures to combat IUU fishing

All service vessels and out-of-province fishing boats docking at fishing ports in Lam Dong province will undergo 100% inspection to ensure compliance with paperwork, port entry/exit procedures, and fishing log requirements. Their positions and voyages will be tracked around the clock from departure to return via the VMS.

Vietnam’s durian exports rebound strongly

According to the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment, in May, June, and July, the country exported 7,745 batches of fresh durians totaling over 207,000 tonnes, more than 10 times higher than in the first four months of the year, as well as 560 batches of frozen durians weighing nearly 16,000 tonnes, up almost 64.3%.
