Vietnam reports 11 more recovered COVID-19 patients, total hits 232

Eleven COVID-19 patients recovered and were discharged from the National Tropical Diseases Hospital on May 5 morning, bringing the country’s total recovered cases to 232, according to the National Steering Committee on COVID-19 Prevention and Control.

Hanoi (VNA) - Eleven COVID-19 patientsrecovered and were discharged from the National Hospital for Tropical Diseases onMay 5 morning, bringing the country’s total recovered cases to 232, accordingto the National Steering Committee on COVID-19 Prevention and Control.

They are all Vietnamese, including tworelapsed patients.

These patients will continue to be quarantinedand monitored for the next 14 days, according to the committee.

Vietnam is now hospitalising 39 COVID-19patients.

As of May 5 morning, Vietnam had had no newCOVID-19 cases in the community to report over the past 18 days. The number of confirmedcases stand at 271 and no fatalities./.
