Vietnam reports additional 852 COVID-19 cases on July 13 afternoon

The Health Ministry said 852 cases of COVID-19 were detected in the country during the time from 1pm to 6pm July 13, raising the number of cases in the past 24 hours to 2,301, including five imported cases. ​

Hanoi (VNA) – The Health Ministry said 852 cases ofCOVID-19 were detected in the country during the time from 1pm to 6pm July 13,raising the number of cases in the past 24 hours to 2,301, including fiveimported cases.

Ho Chi Minh City still accounted for a majority of cases with1,797, followed by Binh Duong with 186, Long An 130, Dong Thap 31, Ba Ria-VungTau 27, Phu Yen 26, Vinh Long 23, Dong Nai 12 and Ben Tre 11.

Thenational tally rose to 34,500, comprising 32,555 domestic infections and 1,945imported cases.

An additional 222 patients were given the all-clear on July13, raising the number of recoveries to 9,553, while five more deaths relatedto COVID-19 were reported on the same day.

Amongactive patients, 307 have tested negative for SARS-CoV-2 once, 114 twice and 81thrice.

Atotal 3,783,505 people have received one shot ofCOVID-19 vaccine, and 280,367 have got the full two doses./.
