Vietnamese police on January 30 returned a fugitive Chinese man, alleged to have illegally destroyed forest area, to Chinese police at Mong Cai International Border Gate in the northern province of Quang Ninh.

Quang Ninh (VNA) – Vietnamese police onJanuary 30 returned a fugitive Chinese man, alleged to have illegally destroyedforest area, to Chinese police at Mong Cai International Border Gate in thenorthern province of Quang Ninh.

Lin Feng, 36, is accused of illegally occupying farminglands and destroying forest in Fujian, China. He escaped from his home country,making Chinese police to issue red notice in search for him overseas.

The Chinese side has received support from police of MongCai city who captured him in District 1, Ho Chi Minh City on January 29. Linwas then transferred to Mong Cai before being handed over to Chinese police inDongxing city.-VNA

Running from August 4 to September 2, under the hashtag #TuHaoVietNam, the campaign invites participants in two categories: “I Love My Country” video clips and “I Love My Country” check-in photos.

With a tight 13-month deadline, the move is under a strategic and urgent policy to bridge educational gaps, train the local workforce, and shore up territorial sovereignty in some of the country’s most remote areas.
