Hanoi (VNA)🍰 – Vietnamese Ambassador Venezuela and Grenada Vu Trung My has noted Vietnam’s desire to further promote and deepen its relationship with Grenada in the time ahead.
Presenting his credentials to Governor-General of Grenada Dame Cecile La Grenade on August 5, My reaffirmed Vietnam’s consistent foreign policy of independence, self-reliance, peace, friendship, cooperation, development, and diversification and multilateralisation of external relations.

Governor-General La Grenade expressed her admiration for Vietnam’s past struggle for national liberation and reunification, as well as the country’s notable achievements in the renewal process under the leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam.
She congratulated My on his appointment as Vietnamese Ambassador to Grenada and expressed confidence that, with his experience, he will make significant contributions to enhancing bilateral relations in the coming years.
On this occasion, Governor-General La Grenade extended her thanks to State President Luong Cuong for the invitation to attend the official signing ceremony of the United Nations Convention against Cybercrime, to be held in Hanoi on October 25–26. She confirmed that Grenada will send a representative to the event.
For his part, Ambassador My pledged to continue efforts to advance friendship and cooperation across all fields between the two countries.

During a meeting on August 10 in Seoul with 100 representatives from the RoK’s intellectuals, associations, people’s organisations, businesses, and non-governmental organisations operating in Vietnam, Party General Secretary To Lam expressed his gratitude to Korean friendship, economic, cultural associations, universities, research institutes, individuals, and NGOs for their significant contributions to nurturing the Vietnam–RoK relationship.
