Vietnam sends congratulations on day of solidarity with Palestine

Hanoi (VNA) –
General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam andPresident Nguyen Phu Trong on November 28 sent congratulatory messages in responseto the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People.

The messages, affirming the support and solidarity with the Palestinian people, were sent to UN Secretary-GeneralAntonio Guterres, Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas and Chair of the UN Committeeon the Exercise of the Inalienable Rights of the Palestinian People CheikhNiang.

The International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People is observed bythe United Nations on November 29 each year. It traditionally provides anopportunity for the international community to focus its attention on the factthat the question of Palestine remains unresolved and that the Palestinianpeople have yet to attain their inalienable rights.–VNA
