Vietnam to host ASEAN Transport Ministers’ Meeting

Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc has agreed with the Ministry of Transport’s proposal to host the 25th ASEAN Transport Ministers’ Meeting (ATM), the ATM with dialogue partners and related meetings in 2019.

Hanoi (VNA) – PrimeMinister Nguyen Xuan Phuc has agreed with the Ministry of  Transport’s proposal to host the 25th ASEANTransport Ministers’ Meeting (ATM), the ATM with dialogue partners and related meetingsin 2019.

The PM has assigned theministry to coordinate with relevant agencies and localities to make thoroughpreparations for the meetings.

The first ASEAN TransportMinisters’ Meeting was held in Bali, Indonesia in1996. 

ASEANgroups Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines,Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam.-VNA
