Vietnam to meet U20 Argentina in friendly matches

U20 and U22 Vietnam football teams will have friendly matches against U20 Argentina in HCM City and Hanoi next month, the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) said a press conference in Hanoi on April 20.

Hanoi (VNA) – U20 and U22 Vietnam football teams will havefriendly matches against U20 Argentina in HCM City and Hanoi next month, the VietnamFootball Federation (VFF) said a press conference in Hanoi on April 20.

The match between U20 Vietnam and U20 Argentina will take place at 19:00 on May10 at Thong Nhat Stadium in Ho Chi Minh City. 

It is the final preparation for both teams ahead of the FIFA U20 WorldCup which is scheduled for mid-May in the Republic of Korea, said VFF GeneralSecretary Le Hoai Anh. 

The U20 Argentina team will face U22 Vietnam on May 14 in Hanoi’s My DinhNational Stadium, adding the event will help the U22 team prepare for the U23Asia qualifying round and Southeast Asian Games 29, he added.   

The U20 Argentina football team will be in Vietnam from May 8-14 with 37members, including 21 players and coach Diego Romagnoli.-VNA
